Hi, I’m Lauren Faith Reznik — a writer, comedian, musician, and former pharmacy tech, born and raised in New York. I’m currently based in San Diego, available to work as a local in LA, and open to travel or relocation for the right project.
My comedy leans dark, sarcastic, and a little neurotic — I started doing stand-up after delivering a eulogy at my grandmother’s funeral that somehow made people laugh. Since then, I’ve leaned into telling honest, character-driven stories that balance humor with heart.
I’m currently developing a sitcom called Bad Rx, based on my 15 years working as a pharmacy technician. It’s fast-paced, weirdly wholesome, and rooted in the chaos of retail life — kind of like Scrubs, if it took place behind the pharmacy counter.
I also write and record original music influenced by early 2000s alt-pop and the soundtracks that raised us. My upcoming EP, Weird in a Good Way, is a project close to my heart — a mix of catchy, confessional songs about identity, OCD, and learning to celebrate what sets you apart.
As a neurodivergent creative, I care deeply about representation — not just in stories, but in the rooms where stories are made. Whether it’s TV, comedy, or music, I’m always trying to create things that make people feel seen, laugh unexpectedly, or just feel a little less alone.
Beyond my creative work, I’m also experienced in event planning and production coordination — organized, collaborative, and always up for bringing big ideas to life behind the scenes.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to check out my writing samples, music, resume — or reach out if you're working on something cool and need a writer who can juggle a punchline and a panic spiral.
